A pesky Bedford boys basketball team came into Watertown High School Wednesday night and ended the Raiders season.

The sixth seeded Raiders started the game well with a 9-0 run, but the Raiders  in 11-9) fell behind the 11th seeded Bedford team, which earned a MIAA Div. 3 North tourney berth by having a winning record against Div. 3 opponents despite a 6-14 regular season, according to a report on Wicked Local Watertown.

The Buccaneers rallied to take a narrow lead at the end of the first quarter and at the half. A big third gave Bedford an 11 point lead heading in to the last quarter.

Bedford won the game 68-58, despite four Raiders scoring double figures – Mike Hagopian, Nate Munson-Palumba, Derek Diepietrantonio and Brendan Hoban. See more details on Wicked Local Watertown.
