Come hear from the Candidates for District B Town Council at the Candidate Forum hosted by Watertown News, and bring your questions!
The forum will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Watertown Free Public Library’s Watertown Savings Bank Room.
Attendees will have the chance to submit their questions to the candidates, so come with some ideas.
Four people are running for the Council seat for District B, which means there will be a Preliminary Election on Thursday, Sept. 17. Read the candidate Q&As by clicking on each name:
For those who cannot make the forum, it will be taped by Watertown Cable Access, and shown at a later time.
District B includes Precincts 4, 5 and 6, and voters cast their ballots at the Phillips School or Hibernian Hall. The general boundaries are:
- If you are north of Mt. Auburn Street, the neighborhoods east of Common Street, west of School Street are included.
- If you are South of Mt. Auburn Street, it goes from Watertown Square to Spruce Street.
- It also includes the neighborhoods south of the Charles River.
