Michael Antonellis – a life-long Watertown native and resident – has been named Chief Marketing Officer at Newton, MA-based National Brain Tumor Society, the largest nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to the brain tumor and brain cancer cause, according to a press release from the National Brain Tumor Society.

Mr. Antonellis is Watertown High School, class of 1987, graduate. He is a former president of the Watertown High School Football Gridiron Club and former president of Watertown/Belmont Pop Warner. Additionally, he’s served as a youth coach for basketball, football, baseball, hockey, and soccer in the town. He continues to live in town with his wife and two children.

Antonellis joined the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) in 2015, originally as National Director of Marketing Communications. Prior to joining NBTS, he served as Director of Marketing & Communications at Harte Hanks, an international digital marketing services company, and has held senior communications and public relations positions at CAD software provider VISTAGY (now Siemens), and Lois Paul & Partners, a leading high technology and biotechnology public relations agency. He is a 1991 graduate of Boston College, where he still volunteers for the school’s Carrer Center and Alumni Association.
