The last Tremedal Concert of the season features The Kennedys, and will be held at the First Parch Church in Watertown on Saturday, May 12 at 8 p.m.

Pete and Maura Kennedy, both East Coast natives who met in Austin, Texas. This year they celebrate their 20th anniversary both as a band and a married couple.

Their music has been described as a mix of Buddy Holly style roots, the tuneful cadences of the Everly Brothers, and the ringing 12-string jangle of the early Byrds, interspersed with darker moments that recall British folk rock a la Fairport Convention.

Tickets cost $20 at the door, or $15 before the show by purchasing online. To purchase tickets online click here.

The Tremedal Concerts benefit the Watertown-El Salvador Sister City Project. Proceeds after expenses support the sister community of Nueva Esperanza, El Salvador, and regional projects in Chalatenango Province.
