Puppet Shows and Whale Day Event Coming to Watertown Mall

The Watertown Mall has a couple of events for the whole family in July, including puppets and a visit from the New England Aquarium.

Wayne Martin Puppets Visits the Mall

The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal St., Watertown, will be hosting Wayne Martin Puppets on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Wayne will be putting on three shows that day – one at 11:00 a.m., one at 1:00 p.m., and another at 3:00 p.m.

Visit the Watertown Mall to see Wayne Martin perform with his posse of hand puppets and
marionettes. Wayne will be using parody, mime, dance, masks, and musical theatre in his amazing new show, “Lazy Crazy Dayz of Summer.” So join Buford T. Dog and his friends, Slider Bullfrog, Man with a Bird on His Head, Zealand the Juggling Dog, Dancing Rag Mops, and more as you gasp in amazement at this musical revue for the entire family! Don’t wait; mark your calendars today!

This event is FREE to the general public; it will take place in the back hallway, near Carter’s.

New England Aquarium Presents Whale Day

The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, will be hosting the NewmEngland Aquarium for their “Whale Day” event on Tuesday, July 31, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Visit the Watertown Mall for their “Whale Day” event, sponsored by the New England Aquarium. The event will be taking place on July 31, 2018 from 11:00 to 2:00. A great program for families, Whale Day allows children to learn about whales and other ocean life and participate in fun activities, such as a whale feeding simulation and a whale species matching game. Experts will be curating various
demonstrations, including one that invites participants to put on a “blubber glove” to show them how whale blubber works to keep whales warm. And, in addition to that, all attendees will be permitted to take pictures with Calvin, a life-sized inflatable whale. Don’t miss out – call your friends and invite them to join
you in celebrating Whale Day!

This event is FREE to the general public; it will take place in the back hallway, near Carter’s.
