Watertown Savings Bank announced three promotions to Vice President.

William Burgess

Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) President and Chief Executive Officer Brett Dean is pleased to announce the recent promotion of William K. Burgess to Vice President.

Burgess was born and raised in Waltham, and has worked for WSB for 25 years. He currently manages the Bank’s newest office located in Waltham’s Market Basket Plaza. Previously, Burgess was the longtime manager of WSB’s East Watertown/Bigelow Avenue Branch. He is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies; the New England College of Business and Finance; and completed the Dale Carnegie High Impact Presentation Skills program.

In 2016, Burgess was named a Community Bank Hero by Banker & Tradesman. Burgess has served as treasurer of the Warrendale Little League (WLL) for 14 years; and on the advisory board of the Money Management program at Springwell, Inc., a Waltham organization that helps seniors and individuals with disabilities live at home with dignity and independence, for the past 10 years.

During his time as WLL treasurer, he developed the Emerging Leaders of Waltham program, which helps students learn how to start, run, and market a business. Emerging Leaders of Waltham is currently in its eighth year, and Burgess has taught more than 1,300 students of all ages. He is looking to expand the program to other towns in the WSB market area, including Watertown, Arlington and Belmont.

Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) President and Chief Executive Officer Brett Dean is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Antonia J. O’Hara to Vice President.
O’Hara currently serves as Main Office Branch Manager. She has worked for WSB for 32 years. She is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies.

O’Hara is Treasurer of the Massachusetts Retirement Plan Consortium group and manages the Church Street, Watertown drive-up branch as well. Originally, from Watertown, she currently resides in Waltham.

Watertown Savings Bank (WSB) President and Chief Executive Officer Brett Dean is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Jan Viglirolo to Vice President.

Viglirolo serves as the Bank’s Operations Manager. Prior to joining WSB in 2014, she was a Vice President at two other local banks, and has 30 years’ experience in the banking industry. An expert in deposit operations, Viglirolo has helped make significant improvements to WSB’s mobile app and online banking.

She earned her Associate’s degree in Business Management from Charter Oak State College; graduated from the Massachusetts Bankers Association School for Financial Studies; and is an Accredited ACH (Automated Clearing House) Professional. Originally, from Belmont, Viglirolo currently resides in Waltham.
