Watertown’s Memorial Day Parade will be held on May 27, 2019, and groups can now register to participate in the annual event.
The Town of Watertown provided the following information:
Join with members of your company, organization, neighborhood, friends and family to participate in the parade! Fill out the attached registration form and return it marked ‘Memorial Day Parade Registration’ to: The Town of Watertown, Veteran’s Services, 149 Main Street, Watertown, MA 02472 or email: townmgr@watertown-ma.gov
Parade registrations are due no later than May 20, 2019.
The parade begins at noon, but check in starts at 10:30 a.m. near the Tufts Health Plan garage on Grove Street. Participants will line up at 11 a.m. It will go down Mt. Auburn Street from Coolidge Square in East Watertown to Watertown Square, then turn down Main Street and finish at Town Hall.
All participants must be patriotic family oriented. The Memorial Day Parade Committee reserves the right to reject the registration and/ or check-in of any participant with a theme that the Committee deems unsuitable for a family event.
