Police Log: Man Attacked by Former Co-Worker, Driver Busted With Crack Cocaine

Jan. 3, 6:17 p.m.: Loss prevention at Home Depot detained two shoplifters who were spotted taking items and put them into a backpack. The pair first went to the tool section and then to the electrical and light area. When they were stopped, the pair had a Copper Fit back support, two Roku streaming sticks, a Rigid 18-volt combo kit, a Google Home Mini Charcoal and a Google Home Mini Chalk.

Police Log: Woman Scammed by Man Posing as Soldier on Facebook, Multiple Packages Stolen

Dec. 11, 10:23 a.m.: An officer spotted a man driving on North Beacon Street who was known by police to have a revoked license. The vehicle was stopped and police confirmed that his license was revoked. The 53-year-old Belmont man was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Police Log: Suspect Damages Police Vehicle, Argument Erupts Over Parking Lot

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Dec. 3, 3:46 a.m.: An officer spotted a vehicle in the municipal parking lot in Watertown Square, the owner of which was known by police to have a revoked license. Officers saw the owner come out of CVS and enter the vehicle along with a friend. The vehicle was stopped after police confirmed the driver had a revoked license.

Police Log: Pair Caught Taking Several Power Tools, Police Break Up Fight

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Nov. 26, 5:54 p.m.: Security at Home Depot spotted a man and woman in the store and the man was known as a chronic shoplifter. The pair went to the power tool section of the store and took items out of their packaging and placed some in the carriage pushed by the woman and the man hid some in his clothing. The man had three Milwaukee Drills on him.

Police Log: Teen Takes Joy Ride, Vehicle Strikes Apartment Building

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Nov. 21, 11:52 a.m.: A Mt. Auburn Street resident parked in the municipal lot on Boylston Street at 9 a.m. and when the person returned at 11:52 a.m. the 2001 Toyota Corolla was gone. Later that day, at 2:07 p.m., officers who were looking for the vehicle discovered it in the lot behind the Dunkin’ Donuts in Watertown Square.
