Two Watertown Students Make Dean’s List at UMaine

The University of Maine recognized 2,572 students for achieving Dean’s List honors in the fall 2019 semester. Of the students who made the Dean’s List, 1,754 are from Maine, 743 are from 30 other states and 75 are from 31 countries other than the U.S.

Listed below are students who received Dean’s List honors for fall 2019, completing 12 or more credit hours in the semester and earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Please note that some students have requested that their information not be released; therefore, their names are not included. Students from Watertown are: Yonas Butler and Sarah Tymm

Watertown Students Make MassBay’s Dean’s List

MassBay Community College is pleased to announce its 2018 Fall Semester Dean’s List. Full-time students who have earned a 3.50 or higher grade point average (GPA) are included and acknowledged on the Dean’s List. This semester’s list includes 288 students. Pair of Watertown Residents Named to Their College’s Dean’s Lists

Two Watertown residents were recently named to their college’s Dean’s List. Student at Savanah College for Art and Design
Emerson Shaye O’Connor was named to the Dean’s List at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Ga., for spring quarter 2018. Emerson is seeking a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising with a minor in Fashion Design. She is the daughter of Julie MacDonald of Watertown and Jonathan O’Connor of Newton. Named one of Kaplan’s “25 cutting edge schools with an eye toward the future,” the Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited institution with locations in Atlanta and Savannah, Ga., and in Lacoste, France.

310 Endicott College Athletes Make Dean’s List, Including One from Watertown

A total of 310 Endicott College club and varsity student-athletes have been named to the 2017 Fall Semester Dean’s List for obtaining a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 in the fall semester, including Watertown’s Gabriella Coppola who plays basketball for the Gulls. 

All 21 Endicott varsity programs and all seven club programs are represented throughout the list, Endicott Athletics announced. The breakdown of student-athletes named to the Dean’s List is solely based on the information provided by the Endicott Athletics Compliance Office, which reflects grades posted as of February 12, 2018. The list provided by the Endicott Athletics Compliance Office is subject to change at any time. NOTE: In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must obtain a minimum grade point average of 3.5, receive no grade below a “C”, have no withdrawal grades, and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits for the semester. Watertown Student Named to First Semester Dean’s List at Holy Cross

Olivia Venezia, a first year student at the College of the Holy Cross, has been named to the Dean’s List for the first semester of 2017-18 academic year, the college announced. 

She is the daughter of Michael and Rosanna Venezia of Watertown. She has not declared a major. The Watertown High School graduate also plays on the Holy Cross varsity field hockey team. The College of the Holy Cross (www.holycross.edu), located in Worcester, Mass., is among the nation’s leading liberal arts institutions. A highly selective, four-year, exclusively undergraduate college of 2,900 students, Holy Cross is renowned for offering a rigorous, personalized education in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition.

Several Watertown Students Make Dean’s List at MassBay College

The Massachusetts Bay Community College is pleased to announce its 2017 Fall Semester Dean’s List. Full-time students who have earned a 3.50 or higher grade point average (GPA) are included and acknowledged on the Dean’s List. This semester list includes 252 students.
