Hundreds of children and extended family members joined in on the 7th Annual Beeping Egg Hunt at Perkins School for the Blind on Saturday, April 6th. Three hundred brightly-colored, plastic eggs that emit high-pitched beeps were placed around the central playground on Perkins’ Watertown Campus. The Beeping Egg Hunt is a specialized event for children with visual impairments and their families. Each year it attracts students enrolled in both day and residential programs at Perkins, as well as other area families.

The Watertown Mall, located at 550 Arsenal Street, together with Watertown Families Together invite you to come on April 17, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. for “Bunnies, Baskets, and Chicks,” an event to celebrate Spring & Easter. There will be Spring time songs, stories and crafts as well as making your own basket, bunny or chick. This is a free event & all ages are welcome, although the stories are catered to younger children. This will take place in the back hallway of the mall, across from Carter’s. The event will kick off with storytelling and songs led by Watertown Families Together’s, Arlene Smith. Participants will then be invited to paint Easter eggs at our craft table. Everyone will receive a letter from the Easter Bunny for attending. The event will begin at 10:00 a.m and will take place in the back hallway, near Carter’s. This event is FREE to the general public, so come and bring your friends!
