This Friday, the most happening day of the weekend, you can start the morning with a Creative Chat at the Mosesian, for anyone involved in the arts, and end the day with a classical voice and piano benefit concert at First Parish Church or at a Tantra Speed Date event. Once you have found your date, take them to the Solstice events at Mount Auburn Cemetery on Saturday. All day there will be organized walks, craft workshops, a wide variety of music performances, a sound meditation, and a poetry reading. Some activities are free and some are paid, so be sure to take a careful look at the whole schedule and register as needed. The Greek Festival will be on all weekend. Sunday there is a children’s author’s talk and reading at the library. Your little one will be excited to meet Grace Lin and to start collecting signed books. It must be an intriguing book with that cool book cover.
