
The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
July 18: A woman entered Target and took $117.46 in clothing and other merchandise. She walked past the registers without paying and left.
July 18: A couple was watching a movie at the Majestic 7 cinemas around 4 p.m. when a man in their row stood up and his shorts fell to the ground. He stood facing the rear corner of the theater. The man approached him and asked him to stop and pull up his pants. The man left the theater. The movie theater was informed about the incident and police are looking into it.
July 19: A woman placed about $300 worth of children’s clothing into a bag at Carter’s and left without paying. She was seen going into the Watertown Mall, and then entered Target. She took $175 worth of merchandise from Target.
July 20: A hole was found in the side of a tire of a vehicle parked on Dexter Avenue. It appeared that someone used a sharp object to puncture the tire. The incident occurred between July 19 at 5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m. on the 20th.
July 21: Police received a report of illegal dumping. A mattress was left leaning against a “no parking” sign on French Street. The Department of Public Works was called to remove it.
July 21: A man took $197 worth of merchandise from Target.
July 21: An Arsenal Street resident reported that someone purchased an Apple iPhone Max using her Verizon account, and also set up auto-payments on her account fof $190 each month. Verizon is working with her on the issue.
July 22: A mattress was left on Marcia Road sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. The DPW came to remove it.
July 22: A black bookcase was left on the side of Grandview Avenue. The DPW took it away.
