An entertaining start to this weekend is a trip to see the Watertown Children’s Theater production of Anastasia: The Musical on Friday evening or on Saturday. Then for lots of lighthearted fun, Saturday afternoon there is a Taskmaster (TV show) watching party at the library. It is a funny and tongue-in-cheek TV show that is perfect for group watching. I can hear the laughter now! Sunday in the late morning or afternoon there is a holiday gift shopping block party at Arsenal Yards. Get off your online shopping and shop in town instead while grooving on the DJ’s tunes and eating good food. Also outside on Sunday is the School of Rock Fall Fest with musical performances in Filippello Park. There will be interactive activities and one of my favorite things, an instrument petting zoo. If you feel more like staying inside, there is an organ concert on Sunday afternoon at the Armenian Memorial Church with David Von Baron from Harvard’s Memorial Church. A professional organ concert can be magical.
