Let’s make this a weekend dedicated to arts and crafts! A few days ago I went to the reception of the watercolor show at the Mosesian, and it is truly worth a visit. The art has been collected from around New England and it’s fantastic. On Friday evening there is an LGBTQ+ drop in at the Hatch Maker Space. Isn’t it the perfect time to do some gift making? And if you are a potter, there is an all-day demonstration this Saturday by the award winning ceramicist, Randy Johnston at Indigo Fire Pottery Studio. Tell all your potter friends! Finally, the Mount Auburn Cemetery Solstice Light event is not fully sold out, so if you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, take a look. Their light show is a unique experience, and it’s fun to go outside at night, all bundled up in your winter coats, hats, gloves and wooly boots, to celebrate the solstice.
