Foley, who helped the Raiders boys soccer team reach the Round of 16 in the 2025 MIAA Div. 3 State Tournament, will play at Brandeis University next fall.

Watertown Boys Soccer Coach Frank Cacia said Foley broke Watertown’s single season scoring record and was a dynamic and technically skilled midfielder known for his vision, ball control, and passing accuracy. He helped lead the Raiders to their first Middlesex League Freedom Title since 2019.

“He played a vital role in linking our defense and attack, maintaining possession, and dictating the tempo of play” Cacia said. “Gavin is most comfortable playing in a holding midfield role but we have asked him to be our main offensive threat. He has responded in impressive fashion as he led the Middlesex League in scoring with 17 goals and 10 assists.”

His play during his senior season earned Foley a variety of accolades, including: All-State, Eastern Mass. All-Star, All-Conference, Middlesex League Small MVP, Middlesex Small Golden Boot (most goals), and Middlesex Small All-Star.

Setouhi and Lamacchia will continue their field hockey careers at the college level. At Watertown, they were part of teams that won three state title, made it to four final fours, and won four Middlesex League Championships, said Watertown Field Hockey Coach Eileen Donahue.

“It would be great to see both of them achieve at the next level in college,” Donahue said.

Setouhi, who will be playing at UMass-Lowell, was a MSFHCA Super Soph team member, Middlesex League All-star and MVP,  Middlesex All-District team, as well as a Best of 60 Team member.

This year, the pair helped the Raiders reach the State Semifinal.
