It’s another summer weekend in Watertown, and I have an eclectic group of town activities for you. If you only work half a day on Friday or not at all, and you’re into making things with assisted technology, visit the Hatch Maker Space for their drop-in hours from 1-4 p.m. “The Naked Gun” movie at the Majestic 7 Theater is full of goofy laughs, and this Friday is date night at the Majestic. So go laugh! On date night, if you buy one popcorn and fountain drink, you’ll get another free. Our town is full of cultural festivals, and this weekend there is a Nepali one, Haritalika Teej on Saturday evening. Go see what it’s all about. I bet the food will be delish. Another date night option this weekend is a visit to West on Main, an Irish pub in the West End that serves up some typical Irish meals as well as more American fare to go along with some Guiness. May your weekend be full of laughs, curry and creativity!

All visitors to Hatch must show their Hatch Make Card or sign a waiver to receive a Maker Card. Those under 18 must have a parent/guardian present to sign the waiver. Visitors under twelve years old must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. No registration needed.
