Early Voting in the 2025 Watertown Election Starts Tuesday, See Who’s Running

The Watertown City Election takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, but registered voters can participate in Early In-Person Voting at City Hall beginning Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Races include City Councilor At-Large, District C City Council, School Committee, and Library Trustees.

Early Voting Days

Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

On Election Day, Nov. 4, 2025, polls will be open from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Several polling locations have changed in 2025. See details here. To confirm your precinct location, please go to the Secretary of State’s Where Do I Vote webpage.

The Ballot

Watertown voters have multiple contested races in 2025.

In the race for City Councilor At-Large, five people are running for four spots, and one of the incumbents is not seeking re-election. The candidates are Tom Tracy, Tony Palomba, Theo Offei, John Gannon, and Caroline Bays.

In District C, incumbent Vincent Piccirilli faces a challenge from Andres Guzman.

The School Committee race includes five people running for three seats and one incumbent will not be seeking another term. The candidates are David Stokes, Jessica Middlebrook, Sheila Krishnan, Joe Ganno, and Amy Donohue.

Four hopefuls are running for three positions on the Board of Library Trustees and two incumbents decided not to run again. The candidates are Pia Owens, Xin Peng, Leanne Hammonds, and Fowler Brown.
