Watertown Boys & Girls Club Gets Into the Holiday Spirit

The Christmas spirit could be felt around the Watertown Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, with children wearing festive hats, making Christmas crafts and visiting Santa Claus. The annual Youth Member Holiday Party was a big hit with the members of the club. Nearly 200 showed up to take part in the various activities. “I expected 150 members but there are more than that. I would say 175,” said Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Renee Gaudette.

Golf Tournament Raises Big Bucks for Watertown Boys & Girls Club

The Watertown Boys and Girls Club held its 38th Annual Stephen P. Mugar Memorial Golf Tournament this week at the Oakley Country Club. Well over 100 golfers joined in for a gorgeous day of golf followed by a dinner and auction on Aug. 10. The event raised over $170k to support our Academic Success, Healthy Living and Character Development programs, which serve hundreds of youth each year. The Watertown Boys & Girls Club wishes to thank all our golfers, volunteers, hole sponsors and supporters.

Auction Raises More Than $50,000 for Watertown Boys & Girls Club

The Watertown Boys and Girls Club held its Annual Spring Auction on Thursday, May 7 at the Oakley Country Club. Over 150 Club supporters were in attendance for the fundraiser featuring a live and silent auction. The event raised over $50,000 for our organization including $13,000 in camp scholarships. These funds are used to help defray the cost of attending our Summer Adventure Program at Camp Hale in Westwood, for kids whose families might otherwise not be able to afford it. “We wish to thank all our sponsors and guests for their support!
