New England Vaping Company in Watertown carries a variety of flavors for e-cigarettes.
Users of e-cigarettes now have a local spot to get the equipment and supplies.
New England Vaping Company opened at 100 Main St. in Watertown in mid-April.
The small storefront has a about 60 flavors from three suppliers to use with e-cigarettes, said Heleen Venter, who co-owns the store with her husband Jamie Richard.
“Some people come in with very particular tastes and others come in and try them all,” Venter said.
E-cigarette equipment are available at New England Vaping Company on Main Street.
While e-liquids are easy to find on the internet, Venter said that people get more information coming into the store.
“The problem with online purchases is people don’t now what they are going to be like,” Venter said.
All the liquids sold at New England Vaping Company meet the American E-Liquid Manufacturing Standards Association (AEMSA) standards, Venter added, meaning they meet “sustainable and safe manufacturing standards.”
The e-liquids are available with a variety of levels of nicotine, including some with none at all.
Venter and Richard live in Waltham, but jumped at the chance to open their store in Watertown.
“We have always really liked Watertown and when this spot opened up we said, ‘This is meant to be,'” Venter said.
