Police Log: Mother, Daughter Busted for Shoplifting and More

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.

Arrests

July 1, 3:49 p.m.: A woman and her mother were seen in Target allegedly shoplifting. The woman appeared to be keeping lookout while her mother took items and put them in a bag. The pair tried to leave without paying. The 30-year-old woman from Revere was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. The 64-year old woman from Brighton was summonsed to Waltham District Court for shoplifting.

July 1, 4:33 p.m.: An officer on patrol spotted a driver outside the marked driving lane. When the vehicle was pulled over the officer found the driver had no license and had a warrant. The 45-year-old Watertown man was arrested on charges of unlicensed driving, marked lanes violation and a warrant for traffic offenses.

July 2, 10:55 a.m.: A 19-year-old man from Waltham was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

July 2, 7:55 p.m.: A woman was spotted putting items in a bag and attempted to leave without paying. The items were worth $349.25. The 32-year-old woman from Belmont was arrested for larceny over $250.

July 3, 9:47 p.m.: Police responded to a report of a man and a woman arguing on Watertown Street at California Street. The man had three warrants for his arrest – one for traffic out of Cambridge District Court, one from Waltham District Court for disorderly conduct and another from Waltham for resisting arrest.

Incident

July 5, 9:28 p.m.: A man was trying clothes on at the Gap Outlet in the Arsenal Project and he realized he left his wallet in the changing room. He went back and it was gone. It contained $400 in cash, a check and personal items.
