Watertown field hockey coach Eileen Donahue will be featured in a piece on WCVB Channel 5 on Oct. 2.

SportCenter 5 anchor Mike Lynch will talk to Donahue about the Raider’s record breaking winning streak for the High 5 feature during the 11 p.m. newscast on Thursday, Oct. 2.

NewsCenter 5’s High report is a weekly report highlighting the outstanding achievements of high school scholar-athletes.

  1. It’s about time they are forced into Division 1. Why they are allowed to stay in D2 is beyond me.

    How many wins in a row now, and absolutely zero goals against this season? Come on, report on the real story as to why they are still in D2!!!!

    • Yes, they are at 133 in a row unbeaten now.

      Not sure why they have not been moved to Div. 1. Until recently it was strictly based on enrollment and Watertown High is quite small, 720 or so total. I have seen other teams moved up divisions. It may be possible for the team to request to move up a division, but I don’t know for sure.
