The Watertown 14U fast pitch softball team played this summer, then extended their season into the fall – but they are not done playing.
The girls will be playing over the winter in an indoor winter league at the Route 1 SportsPlex in Danvers.
“The girls have grown together, stuck together, worked together and have developed into a true TEAM. And not just because they are off to a 2-0 start, with wins vs Wakefield and Danvers, but because they all support each other having fun playing the game they all love,” said an announcement from the team.
Next up for the Raiders is a tough Academy team that should give them quite a challenge.
