The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department.
Arrests
Jan. 19, 1:56 p.m.: An officer served a warrant out of Middlesex Superior Court for probation violation, and arrested a 29-year-old Watertown man.
Jan. 20, 3:32 a.m.: An officer patrolling on Melendy Avenue spotted a car stopped with its hazard lights on. When the officer approached he saw the driver asleep at the wheel. When he asked the driver’s name, the officer was given a false name and later was found to have a revoked license. The 22-year-old Somerville man was arrested on charges of driving with a revoked license and refusing to identify himself to police.
Jan. 22, 6:42 p.m. An intoxicated man was found on Old Country Road. Police found he had and outstanding warrant from Waltham District Court. The 55-year-old homeless man was arrested on the warrant.
Jan. 25, 2:47 a.m.: A vehicle was parked with its lights on on Galen Street and the front driver side tire was deflated an coming off the rim. A strong odor of alcohol was detected on the driver’s breath. Field sobriety tests were given to the driver and the 30-year-old Waltham man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Jan. 25, 6:22 p.m.: An traffic enforcement officer spotted a car driving 45 mph on Charles River Road. The officer pulled over the vehicle and the found the driver had no license. The 28-year-old Boston man was arrested on charges of unlicensed driving.
Incidents
Jan. 19, 4:57 p.m.: Someone vandalized the Arsenal Park sign by spraying it with white paint.
Jan. 19, 5:06 p.m.: Christmas lights were stolen off a porch on Charles River Road.
Jan. 20, 11:14 a.m.: A home on Philip Darch Road was over the previous couple days.
Jan. 20, 11:39 a.m.: A man was spotted taking two pairs of Beat headphones worth $300 each from Best Buy. The suspect was described as a white male, wearing a white shirt and tan pants. He was last seen getting into a red Subaru and leaving on Elm Street and turning on Arsenal Street.
Jan. 23, 7:46 a.m.: Someone tagged a side wall of the Toyota of Watertown building over the previous night.
Jan. 23, 2:36 p.m.: A package left at a home on Prospect Street was delivered but was gone when the resident returned home.
