February may be the shortest month, but the Watertown Free Public Library has packed it plenty of activities.

Here are some of the events going on at the library:

Winter Concert Series

Winter Concert with Jozsef Halajko!

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. as Jozsef Halajko presents his concert “The Spanish and Latin Guitar.” This program will feature South American composers: Lauro, Pernambuco and Barrios. He will also highlight the work of Spanish composers Tarrega, Torroba, Albeniz, and Pena.

Spend this Valentine’s Day enjoying the warm sound of the classical guitar. Free music, what’s not to love?

Free Financial Coaching Sessions!

We will be holding two sessions in February:
Thursday, Feb. 12 from 7-9 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m.-noon

Each session will be for 20 minutes. There is no fee for these sessions. To sign up in advance, please call or stop by the Reference Desk at 617.972.6436. If there are free times on the day of, drop-ins are welcome.

This month in the T. Ross Kelly Family Gallery …

Kathleen Wells, Painter
Kathleen works in several styles and media (acrylic paints, pastels and printmaking), always with bold use of color, line, and texture and with emotional intensity. In her paintings and drawings, she explores psychological states by using the human figure, landscapes, and resonant objects to create magical worlds, ask questions, and tell stories.

Fun in the Children’s Room!

Dinosaur Party

Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 3:30 p.m. Stegosaurus! Pterodactyl! T-rex! Do you have a favorite dinosaur? Celebrate prehistoric beasts with stories, songs, and crafts. For ages 2 to 6. No registration.

Family Concert: Rolie Polie Guacamole

Friday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. These Brooklyn-based children’s music titans offer a unique indie rock experience, pushing the boundaries of what “kindie” can be. For ages 7 and under. No registration.

Build a Birdfeeder

Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 3:30 p.m. Did you know that February is National Bird-Feeding Month? Learn how to make a creative bird feeder to help out our feathered friends! For children in grades K to 5. No registration.
