Watertown will host an evening called “One Community Working Together to Make a Difference” to educate people about helping family and friends battle drug addiction.
The Watertown Public Schools, the Watertown Police Department and Learn to Cope are combining to present the free Community Drug Education event on Thursday, May 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the Watertown Middle School Auditorium.
The keynote speaker will be Chris Thigpen who will speak about “Family Intervention”

- Introduction to the Local Issue
- Introduction to the signs and symptoms
- Drug Education
- Family Intervention
- Overview of Local and National Resources
Also taking part are Wicked Sober Massachusetts Outreach Program, Wayside Youth & Family Support Network, Hopewell Recovery Services, Benchmark Recovery Center, SpringHill and Foundations Recovery Network.
