Halloween Fun-a-Plenty Can be Found at the Watertown Mall

The Watertown Mall has all kinds of fun planned for Halloween, see details below!

The Watertown Mall, 550 Arsenal Street, Watertown, is hosting several free events this month, according to an announcement from the mall.

The 24th Annual Scarecrow Contest kicked off the Autumn Fun on Oct. 16, 2015. Individuals, families, groups, schools, classes, businesses and organizations were invited to enter a scarecrow in the contest. Scarecrows are now on display in the Watertown Mall and voting continues through October 31, 2015. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite scarecrow to determine the winning entries!

On Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, the Museum of Fine Arts’ Artful Adventures program is coming to the mall to host a Mask Making Event. The event runs from 1-4 pm and features masks from all over the world, with an opportunity to make your own masks for your Halloween costume or just for fun! All ages are welcome to come learn and create a mask from the talented MFA instructors.

The Watertown Mall wraps up its October festivities with a Costume Contest and Trick-or-Treating on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. The Costume Contest will start at 4 p.m. and children ages 0-12 are invited to enter for a chance to win a Watertown Mall gift certificate! Entry is free, and the costumes will be judged in three age categories. After the contest, join us from 4-7 p.m. around the mall for trick-or-treating in the stores!
