The holidays are right around the corner and lights, decorations and more have started to appear at homes around Watertown. Watertown Realtor Bob Airasian seeks the best Holiday Light and Decorations, and the winner will get a prize, and a donation to their favorite local charity.
Decorate the exterior of your home in your best Holiday Cheer for the chance to win a $250 American Express Gift Card and a $250 Donation to your local charity of choice.
The deadline for entry is Dec. 4, 2015. To enter: email your name, address and phone number to bob@bobairasian.com.
The contest is limited to 10 entries on a first come, first served basis. The deadline for completed decorations is 5 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2015.
Independent judges will drive by the homes at night following the deadline, and the winner will be picked and notified on Dec. 18.
The judging criteria is as follows:
1. Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations
2. Storyline or theme
3. Display and placement of decorations, animated objects, etc.
4. Overall presentation.
Judges will not enter the home or walk the yard. The contest is limited to whatever is viewable from the street and sidewalk in front of your home. Interior window decorations viewable from the street are permitted.
Corner lots will be judged from all visible areas from the street. And last but not least, you must be a Watertown resident to enter.
