A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday December 14, 2015 for Paula Jean MacDonald at 9 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown.

Ms. MacDonald, a daughter of Walter F. MacDonald, Jr. and Irene H. (Tobio) MacDonald, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, Dec. 9, 2015 at the age of 42.

Paula was a graduate of the Class of 1991, Watertown High School. She loved to play sports; softball and field hockey were he favorites. She was a cheerleader for Watertown High School hockey team. Paula was a graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.

She moved to Arizona to pursue her career. Upon her return home to Massachusetts, she became involved with volunteer work. She had compassion for the homeless and volunteered at local soup kitchens.

She was the loving daughter of Walter F. MacDonald, Jr. (retired Watertown Police Officer) and Irene H. (Tobio) MacDonald. Dear sister of Lynne Marie MacDonald of Waltham. Loving aunt of Haley & Lili. Devoted niece of Louise Scalzi, Mary Tompkins, Joan Dirienzo & her husband Dom, Ruth Tobio and the late John, Anthony & Salvatore, Jr. Tobio. Also survived by several cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St., Watertown on Monday, Dec.14 at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Paula’s name may be sent to the Food Bank of your choice.
