First Parish of Watertown (35 Church St.) Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service 4:30 and 6 p.m. Includes the adult choir, candlelight and a homily (two services are exactly the same). Social hour in between the services at approximately 5:15 p.m. including a cookies pot luck.

Taxiarchae/Archangels Greek Orthodox Church (25 Bigelow Ave.) Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Service, 6:30 p.m. – Vesperal Liturgy. Dec. 25: The Nativity of Our Lord 8:45 a.m. – Orthros (Matins) and Divine Liturgy.

Watertown Evangelical Church (182 Arlington St.) Dec. 24, 7 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.

Sacred Heart Parish (770 Mt. Auburn St.) Dec. 24, 4 p.m. and midnight; Dec. 25, 7:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Redeemer Fellowship Church (111 Mt. Auburn St.) Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, Dec. 24, 6-7 p.m. Celebrate Jesus’ birth with Christmas carols and Scripture Close the evening in candlelight as we sing to Christ, the true Light of the world.

St. Patrick’s Church (212 Main St.) Dec. 24, 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Dec. 25, 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

St. Stephen’s Armenian Apostolic Church (Artsakh Street) Dec. 24, 6 p.m. – Christmas Eve Service of Carols and Candles. Dec. 25, midnight – Christmas Service

Church of the Good Shepherd (9 Russell Ave.) Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Service, 5 p.m. Candlelight, story, song, and Holy Eucharist to mark this holy night! Children’s activity during the sermon and prayers. Reception following. Dec. 25, 10 a.m., Christmas Day Service. A smaller but just as joyful celebration of our Savior’s birth, with lots of singing and Holy Eucharist.

St. James Armenian Church (465 Mt. Auburn St.) Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 6:30 p.m. – Musical Prelude, 7:30 p.m. – Candlelight Service in English. Reception to follow. All are welcome.

Grace Chapel Watertown (525 Main St.) Dec. 24, Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Childcare will be available for newborns through age 5.
