A young moose made quite a splash when it was seen running through Watertown earlier this month, but there may be a sad end to the tale.
A young female moose had to be euthanized after it was struck by a car in Weston, according to WBZ Channel 4.
It is not clear whether or not it is the same one, but Environmental Police said it could be the same one spotted in Watertown and Belmont.
A moose was caught running along Belmont Street on June 1 by a Watertown Police officer (see the video here).
