Police Collecting Winter Clothing for Children During MLK Day of Service Drive

The Watertown Police Department will collect children’s clothing as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.

Donations of like-new children’s items will be accepted at the Watertown Police Station, 552 Main St., Watertown, from rom Jan. 9 to 16. The items will be given to Cradles to Crayons, which will give them to children ages 0-12 who are living in homeless or low-income situations to use at school.

They seek winter coats (girls and boys size infant to 18/20 or adult medium), winter boots (boys and girls size infant, child 0-13 and adult 1-10) and other winter clothing (newborn, child size 18/20 or adult medium).
