A Funeral Service for Mary Ann (Mastrangelo) McCarthy will be celebrated in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.

Mrs. McCarthy died at the Putnam Farms Long Term Care in Danvers on Wednesday morning after a long battle wit ALS. She was 72.

A daughter of the late Dominic and Camille (Cannata) Mastrangelo, she and her late husband Jimmy were long time Watertown residents before moving to Weston. Mary Ann was a Registered Nurse, working at the Boston Medical Center in the Renal Dialysis Unit, she wrote procedures for dialysis patients. She also volunteered at the Counsel of Aging in Weston.

She was the beloved wife of the late James L. “Jimmy” McCarthy. Loving sister of Joseph Mastrangelo of Winthrop & Thomas Mastrangelo of Danvers. Loving aunt of Jeffrey & Eric Mastrangelo. Dear friend of William and Joan Palumbo.ss

A Funeral Service will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown on Saturday Feb. 18 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Interment Newton Cemetery.

A visitation hour will be held from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.
