See the Watertown High School Athletes Named Middlesex All-Stars, 2 named MVP

Twenty Watertown High School athletes received Middlesex League All-Star honors according lists to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald, and the Raiders had League most valuable players in field hockey and boys soccer.

Field hockey goalie Jonna Kennedy was named MVP of the Middlesex League Freedom. She and the Raiders won the Middlesex League, the North Section and the ninth-straight State Championship.

Boys soccer player Alex Abrahamyan helped the Raiders win the North Section for the first time since 2013 and reach the state semifinals. He was named co-MVP of the Middlesex League Freedom.

Here are the All-Stars from Watertown:

Field Hockey: Ally Kennedy, Jonna Kennedy (MVP), Maddy Leither, Sydney Poulin and Gabby Venezia

Football: Mange Camara, Yoseph Hamad, Conor Kennelly, John Korte, Ben Landry, Nick McDermott and Matt Muldrew

Girls Cross Country: Emily Koufos and Elizabeth Powderly

Boys Soccer: Alex Abrahamyan (co-MVP), Robert Danielian, Sergio Salas and Mehmet Yagcioglu

Girls Soccer: Elizabeth Knell

Boys Golf: Owen Gallagher

Also, Lily Barker from the Arlington-Watertown girls swimming team was named a Middlesex League All-Star. She hails from Arlington.
