Middlesex Grand Jury Indicts 3 on Charges in Watertown Cases

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan announced the following grand jury indictments involving cases in Watertown.

These indictments were handed down between January 17 and April 29, 2019. Defendants without a hometown listed do not have a last known address. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Bruce Demelo, 43, of Lynn, was charged with larceny from a building (6 counts), breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the daytime to commit a felony, breaking and entering a motor vehicle in the daytime to commit a misdemeanor, larceny over $1,200, and larceny under $1,200. The Assistant District Attorney is Gabrielle Lomanno.

Akeem Mapp, 29, of Watertown, was charged with possession of a firearm without an FID card, subsequent offense, and possession of ammunition, subsequent offense. The Assistant District Attorney is Robert Meltzer.

James Paul, 29, of Malden, was charged with possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of a shotgun, possession of a firearm without an FID card, and possession of ammunition. The Assistant District Attorney is Robert Meltzer.
