The Watertown Police Department responded to more than a dozen reports of vehicle that were broken into this week.
The 13 break-ins occurred in the East End of Watertown during the overnight hours of Sunday, Aug. 18 into Monday, Aug. 19, according to Watertown Police Sgt. Thomas Grady.
The incidents occurred on Porter Street, Riverside Street, Lincoln Street and Hillside Road. In all cases, the vehicles were left unlocked, Grady said, and change was taken.
“Please remember to lock your vehicle doors at night and to report any suspicious activity to the WPD,” the police announcement on Facebook reads.
