A vigil for the victims of gun violence will be held in Watertown Square on Thursday, July 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Supplies to make signs will be available at the event, said City Councilor Emily Izzo.

  1. Once again…it’s not gun violence, it’s idiots that just happen to use a gun. There are millions of gun owners that never have a problem. ITS A (PEOPLE) PROBLEM PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Literally every country in the world that has common sense gun safety rules does not have this problem. We are the ONLY country with an epidemic of gun violence. It’s because we have too many guns and because it’s too easy to get them. Unless you are a soldier or a cop, you don’t need anything like the assault weapons that have been legally purchased by teenagers who can’t even buy alcohol yet, and then used to murder children. The Second Amendment was never meant for this use; its interpretation was only changed in 2010 by an activist Supreme Court. These are facts, period.
