Watertown Inauguration Taking Place at the Commander’s Mansion

Watertown’s Commander’s Mansion.

The public is invited to attend Watertown’s inauguration ceremony at the Commander’s Mansion on Jan. 2. 2024.

The newly elected members of the City Council, School Committee, and the Board of Library Trustees will be sworn in at the ceremony, which begins at 7 p.m. The historic mansion is located at 440 Talcott Ave., off of Arsenal Street.

The elected officials to be sworn in are:

City Council President and School Committee member: Mark Sideris

City Councilors: Tony Palomba, Caroline Bays, John Gannon, and John Airaisan, Councilors Nicole Gardner, Lisa Feltner, Vincent Piccirilli, and Emily Izzo

School Committee members: Kendra Foley, Lisa Capoccia, and Rachel Kay

Library Trustees: Teddy Kokoros, Maja Young, and Sarah Murphy-Holroyd.

The event is free, and a reception will follow.
