The following announcement was provided by the Watertown Housing Authority.
On May 14th the Watertown Housing Authority participated in this year’s annual Watertown Helps Out Day, put on by the Watertown Community Foundation.
We’re so grateful for the volunteers from C4 Therapeutics who came out to work alongside WHA staff to pick up trash, recycle used bulk items, dispose of household waste, landscape, make our parking lots safer, and add cosmetic upgrades to our buildings. This project was expertly executed by the WHA’s family manager Brian Anderson, and the Watertown Community Foundation’s Executive Director Tia Tilson.
WHO day projects are a beautiful example of the power of our community. These projects integrate local businesses and neighbors across Watertown, all with a shared goal to bolster the good that happens around the Watertown Community.
The Watertown Housing Authority thanks all who participated, and the WCF for acting as a hub of connection for donors, grantees, program participants and stakeholders across the Watertown community. We especially want to give a big thank you to our amazing WHA staff, who not only showed up but pitched in with heart and hard work to make a real difference. Their dedication to our residents and pride in our properties truly shines through in all they do.
