The following information was provided by the Watertown Recreation Department:
The 2025 Papas Elite Semifinals is all tied up at 1-1 with wins from the second-seeded Beavers and fourth-seeded Donohue’s Kaos Club.
The Beavers evened up the series with an 80-54 victory of the third-seeded Zards in the first game on Monday night. Thomas Ferdinando dropped 17 points on the Zards, while Sam Longwell led the Zards with 18 points.
In the second semifinal game of the night, Donohue’s Kaos Club pulled out the 68-60 overtime win over the top seed New Day. Miles Wright led Donohue’s with 17 points, while Zak Ray dropped 16 points for New Day.
With that being said, please pay attention as we have a few schedule adjustments.
- We will play two (2) semifinals games TUESDAY, AUGUST 12 with #1 New Day and #4 Donohue’s Kaos Club at 7 p.m. then #2 Beavers and #3 Zards at 8 p.m.
- The Championship will start on THURSDAY, AUGUST 14 at 9:15 p.m.
- NO GAMES ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13.
