Storefront Art Projects presents: Color & Design Nancy Gruskin, Mauryn Kkira, Elizabeth Thach from Oct. 18 – Nov. 22. A reception will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 6-8 p.m.
Storefront Art Projects is pleased to present Color & Design with Nancy Gruskin, Mauryn Kkira and Elizabeth Thach
Nancy Gruskin distills forms and outlines of objects into abstract shape and line compositions in painting, collage and printmaking. Her studio wall is transported whole to the gallery. Mauryn Kkira designs exuberant clothing that layers and drapes her art onto human bodies. Elizabeth Thach hand crochets free-form large and small high-contrast pieces that float on the wall with textural messages.
All three of these artists are working primarily with color and design. Together they create an environment of very different materials to make a captivating and extremely colorful installation.
