The Watertown Business Coalition (WBC), in partnership with the City of Watertown, is proud to announce the return of the Watertown Arts Market on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026. This signature community event will transform Arsenal Park into a vibrant outdoor gallery and performance space from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Now in its sixth year, the Watertown Arts Market has become a cornerstone of the city’s summer season, offering a platform for local creators to showcase their work to thousands of visitors. This free, family-friendly event features a diverse array of artist booths, live musical performances, interactive art-making stations, and local food vendors.
“The Watertown Business Coalition is honored to partner with the City of Watertown and our tremendous community of artists to bring this event back for its sixth year,” says Doug Orifice, WBC Co-President. “This market is a true celebration of the talent and cultural richness that makes Watertown such a unique place to live and work.”
Call for Artists and Organizations
The Arts Market Committee is officially inviting local Watertown artists, authors, musicians, nonprofit cultural organizations, and arts-based businesses to secure their spot for 2026.
Registration Details:
- Registration Period: Opens Wednesday, April 1, and closes June 30, 2026
- Fees: $30 for individual artists; $40 for nonprofit organizations; $65 for arts and cultural businesses
- How to Apply: Prospective exhibitors can register online at https://www.watertownartsmarket.com/register. Early registration is strongly encouraged as space at Arsenal Park is limited.
About the Watertown Arts Market
The Watertown Arts Market is the marquee event of the Watertown Business Coalition and was first held in 2021. The event is organized by a dedicated committee of local volunteers in close collaboration with the City of Watertown. The event’s mission is to strengthen the local creative economy by connecting Watertown’s working artists directly with the public.
