Those looking to join other soccer fans in Watertown to catch the World Cup Final have two choices of venues to catch Sunday’s big game.
The Watertown Free Public Library will host an outdoor watch party, while the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center will have its own gathering. The final will feature the winner’s of Tuesday’s semifinal between France and Spain, and Wednesday’s semifinal pitting England against Argentina.
Library’s World Cup Final Match Watch Party
Sunday, July 19 | 2:40 PM – End of Match
Saltonstall Park, 149 Main St., Watertown
Join us on the Saltonstall Field for an outdoor, family-friendly watch party of the World Cup final match. Bring your chairs and picnic blankets. There will be a sign making station if you’d like to color a sign to cheer on your team!
The anticipated start time for the event is 2:40 p.m., and we’ll be able to watch on an outdoor LED screen until the game wraps up. Bring sunscreen!

ACEC World Cup Final and Third Place Match Watch Parties
Final: Sunday, July 19 | 3 p.m.; Third Place: Saturday, July 18 | 5 p.m.
ACEC, 47 Nichols Ave., Watertown
In the East End, the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) will host watch parties for both Sunday’s final and Saturday’s Third Place Match, in which the loser’s of the semifinals will play.
Games will be shown on big-screen TVs with comfortable seating. Tickets cost $5 per match and include food and drink. Proceeds benefit the ACEC Charitable Fund.
