A GoFundMe campaign has started to raise money for baby Madeline, and in memory of her mother Karine Asatryan who died in the apparent murder-suicide on Boyd Street on Aug. 31. Madeline’s aunt is seeking to get legal custody.
The campaign, called “Support Baby Madeline in Loving Memory of Karine,” seeks to raise $50,000.
“Karine had recently welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Madeline, into the world. Becoming a mother filled her with immense joy and purpose. She embraced motherhood with her whole heart, pouring all her love and hopes into her daughter’s future. Tragically, Madeline has now lost both of her parents. She will be lovingly raised by her aunt, Meline, who is stepping into this role with courage, tenderness, and unwavering devotion,” the campaign said.
The money raised will help Madeline with immediate needs and long-term ones including baby supplies, medical care, childcare, and future education.
