
As the Nov. 4 Watertown Municipal Election approaches, Watertown News and Watertown Cable Access TV will host a series of candidate forums for the local races, including the City Council and School Committee.
The forums will be broadcast live, and two will be held in person, and all will be broadcast on WCA-TV’s Public Channel (Comcast Ch. 9, RCN Ch. 3, and online at http://vodwcatv.org/internetchannel/watch-now?site=1)
The first forum, held Sept. 29, featured the candidates for Board of Library Trustees: Pia Owens, Xin Peng, Leanne Hammonds, and Fowler Brown.
City Councilor At-Large
Next up will be the five candidates for City Councilor At-Large will be held on Monday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Watertown Middle School Auditorium. The candidates running for the four spots on the Council are Tom Tracy, Tony Palomba, Theo Offei, John Gannon, and Caroline Bays. The public is welcome to attend.

District C City Council
Three days later, the candidates running for District C City Councilor will take appear in a live broadcast from the WCA-TV studio. The Thursday, Oct. 9 candidate forum will begin at 6 p.m. There will be no audience for this event.
School Committee
Monday, Oct. 20 will be the School Committee candidates’ night. Hear from the hopefuls for the three spots on the School Committee: David Stokes, Jessica Middlebrook, Sheila Krishnan, Joe Ganno, and Amy Donohue. The forum will take place at the Watertown Middle School at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. It will also be broadcast live on Watertown Cable.
Voter Information
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. To confirm your precinct location, please go to the Secretary of State’s Where Do I Vote webpage.

Early In-Person Voting will be available at City Hall the following days and times:
Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2025, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
