Nine Watertown Organizations Named Winners in WSB Annual Customer Choice Awards

Watertown Savings Bank hosted the winners of the 2026 Customer Choice Awards, and handed out $100,000 to non-profits from Watertown, Belmont, Waltham, Newton, Arlington, and beyond. See details in the announcement from WSB, below.

On Tuesday, May 5, Watertown Savings Bank distributed $100,000 amongst 34 local non-profit organizations chosen by its banking customers and local residents, at their 27th Annual Customer Choice Awards Night held at the Sons of Italy Hall in Watertown.

Nine Watertown organizations made the list of winners, including the top prize of $15,000 being awarded to St. James Armenian Church Youth Organization of America (ACYOA) for the second year in a row. Rounding out the list of Watertown winners: St. Stephen’s Armenian Elementary School received a $3,000 prize; the Watertown Boys & Girls Club and Actors’ Shakespeare Project were awarded $2,500 each; Ancient Order of Hibernians, Chaisson Family Foundation and Sayat Nova Dance Company received $2,000 awards; and $1,500 was awarded to the Mosesian Center for the Arts and Sons & Daughters of Italy.

“Our Customer Choice Awards program is one of which we are particularly proud because of how many organizations benefit,” said President and CEO Brett Dean. “The list of winners reflects the important work being done by non-profit organizations throughout the communities we serve. Customer Choice Awards Night is the Bank’s favorite event of the year.”

WSB has awarded $1.6 million dollars through the Customer Choice Awards program since its launch 27 years ago.

Watertown Savings Bank is a $1.4 billion mutual savings bank, established in 1870. Headquartered in Watertown Square, WSB has ten locations serving the metro-west area.
