The MIAA released the 2025 winter State Tournament brackets, and three Watertown teams — boys basketball, girls basketball, and boys hockey — will host first round games this week.

After work was paused the week of February 17-21 due to the weather conditions, the previously announced work will resume on Monday, February 24, 2025.

When something ends, invariably something else begins. What ended on Thursday afternoon Feb. 20th at the Victor J. Palladino Gymnasium at the Watertown Middle School was the Boys Varsity Basketball’s regular season. What begins is hopefully a long run in the MIAA Div. 3 Tournament that gets under way next week.

Watertown is again taking the lead in addressing the Massachusetts housing crisis. The city’s goal this time is to rebuild Willow Park’s public housing and add affordable units to the project.
