Watertown got a shoutout in Noah Kahan’s latest album “The Great Divide.” The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter said he enjoyed the time he spent living in town.

One of the longer streets on Watertown’s Southside will soon begin to be reconstructed after the City Council approved funds for the project on Tuesday.

The Joint Hearing to discuss the Watertown Square Area Plan will continue on July 16, at 6 p.m. in the Watertown Middle School Auditorium at 68 Waverley Avenue in Watertown. This is a continuation of the Joint Hearing held on June 13 and June 27 in the same location.
The City of Watertown announced the annual Community Preservation Act public hearing, and the deadline to apply for Community Preservation Act funds, which can be used on projects involving historic preservation, open space, and affordable housing.

I’m going to start my weekend on Friday at the Linx Summerfest. Isn’t it fun to eat food from food trucks while strolling vendor booths or discovering your next craft exploration at a demonstration? The next morning, you can head over to the Majestic 7 to catch a family friendly movie. Kids are free! If you don’t have a kid, you can go anyway.
