Police Seeking Identity of Man Who Followed Woman to House & Tried to Break In

A man tried to break into a Watertown home after following a woman home in the early hours of Sunday morning, Watertown Police announced.

A playground named in honor of a Watertown man who died in Vietnam will be getting an update, with new play structures and paving.
A man tried to break into a Watertown home after following a woman home in the early hours of Sunday morning, Watertown Police announced.
The City Council will be considering what to do with Watertown’s $10 million-plus in federal ARPA funds this week, and also, the Planning Board will not be hearing the proposed project on the former Cannistraro site on Pleasant Street until next meeting.

On Nov. 30, a local housing advocacy group was honored at Abundant Housing Massachusetts’s First Annual Celebration of Abundance. Housing for All Watertown (HAW), a grassroots resident-led group founded in early 2023, received a “Rookie of the Year” award from the Massachusetts pro-housing nonprofit.
James DeMarco grew up in Watertown and became a goaltender at age 5. It’s his life’s passion to stand between the pipes and keep the puck out of the net.
The rate of alcohol and marijuana is dropping for Watertown students, according to a survey by the Watertown Youth Coalition, but school officials have concerns about use among certain groups, as well as the feeling of depression and not having trusted adults with whom they can speak.
