Arrest
April 30, 4:02 p.m.: Police spotted a vehicle cross over the center line on Arsenal Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and found the driver had an active warrant. The 27-year-old Jamaica Plain man was arrested on the warrant from Dorchester District Court for failure to stop for police, reckless driving, and a crosswalk violation. He was also cited for marked lanes violation. May 2, 7:49 a.m.: A makeshift camp site was discovered in a parking lot on the 800 block of Mt.

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
April 23, 7:52 p.m.: Police responded to a call from the Arsenal Mall, and when officers arrived they found Marshall’s security guards holding a suspect. Security spotted the man take a pair of blue Nike sneakers off the shelf and put them on. Then he put his old sneakers in the box and placed it back on the shelf. The man left the store, and security stopped him.

April 16, 7:26 p.m.: Police arrived at the Target parking lot and found a security guard with a suspect who had a brown piece luggage with five bottles of champagne inside. When the man saw the police officers, he dropped the bag and ran. Officers caught him after a brief chase The champagne was worth $297.44. Security told police the man had been spotted taking items from the store on two previous occasions.

Police Log: Irate Motorist Arrested, Checks Go Missing from Mail & Cashed Elsewhere

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
April 9, 12:46 a.m.: A motorist reported seeing a black SUV strike a pole on a traffic island on North Beacon Street at Arsenal Street, and drive away. Police were able to track the vehicle down on Lexington Street and Main Street, and it had smoke coming from underneath the hood, heavy damage to the front, and a shattered windshield. The officer observed the vehicle traveling slowly and swerving. Police stopped the vehicle, and noticed the driver had signs of intoxication.

Police Log: Two People Charged in One Traffic Stop, Woman Threatens Bank

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
April 2, 5:05 p.m.: Police received a report of a man acting erratically on the 700 block of Mt. Auburn Street. They found the man, and while speaking with him, discovered he had a warrant for his arrest. The 56-year-old Watertown man was arrested on the warrant from Waltham District Court for driving under the influence of alcohol and traffic offenses.

Police Log: Wanted Man Tracked Down in Shed, Unruly Patron Breaks Bottles & Computer Screen

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
March 26, 5:34 a.m.: A man discovered that a male friend of his adult daughter was in his home, so the homeowner called police to have the man removed. Police knew that the man had a warrant for his arrest, but when they arrived he was gone. He was spotted a short time later walking down Worcester Street and when officers approached, the man ran away through back yards. Police got the assistance of a State Police search dog and tracked him down inside the shed of a home on Fitchburg Street.

Police Log: Shoplifter Chased Down by Police, Two Face Second OUI Charges

March 19, 1:20 p.m.: A man was seen going through the self-checkout aisle at Target and scanning some items but not others. When security approached the man he kicked the guard and ran toward the back of the building. A detective who responded to the store saw the man running and chased him down. Security recognized the man from previous shoplifting incidents.

March 12, 2:50 a.m.: An officer patrolling on Mt. Auburn Street spotted a vehicle parked in an alley off Phillips Street behind a business and its motor was running. Two people were in the vehicle. The officer spoke to the occupants and found they both had warrants for their arrest.
