Aug. 8, 8 a.m.: Police knew that a man on Edgecliff Road was wanted on a warrant. The 50-year-old Waltham man was arrested on a warrant from Waltham District Court. He was also charged with one count of intimidating a witness and threats to commit a crime. Aug.

Aug. 2, 7:52 p.m.: Store security spotted a woman putting numerous items into a Target bag and tried to walk out without paying. Target security stopper her and found she had multiple clothing items worth more than $400. Police also found she had numerous warrants.

July 26, 3:35 p.m.: A woman was stopped at Target after she was seen taking several items of women’s clothing into the fitting room and came out with items in her bag. She tried to walk past the registers without paying. The 21-year-old South Boston woman was arrested on a charge of shoplifting by concealing merchandise. July 27, 6:45 p.m.: Police were called to Longfellow Road after a resident reported a man walking up and down the street trying to open car doors. When officers stopped the man, police checked his record and found he had several warrants out of Lowell District Court: the first was a default warrant; the second was for two counts of receiving stolen properties over $250; the third was for larceny over $250, possession to distribute a Class C drug, and possession of a Class B drug; the fourth was for four counts of receiving stolen property over $250 and four counts of larceny over $250 by false pretense; the fifth was for possession of a Class A drug and possession of a Class E drug; and the sixth was a default warrant.

July 18, 8:30 p.m.: A man was stopped by security at Marshall’s after he was seen placing multiple items into shopping bags and then attempted to leave the store without paying. He had assorted men’s and women’s clothing, worth $82.92. The 42-year-old Newton man was arrested for shoplifting. Incidents
July 19, 11:10 a.m.: A Morrison Road resident heard loud banging outside her home around 11:30 p.m. on the 18th. When she looked out she didn’t see anything, but the next morning she went out and found several dents on the driver side front door.

July 11, 12:10 a.m.: An officer driving near Bemis Park spotted two people he recognized from previous incidents and noticed the woman acting suspiciously. She was standing in front of Bemis Market and then crouched behind a car and appeared to be attempting to hide from the officer. At the same time a car alarm went off. The woman was seen walking quickly away from the vehicle.
A road rage incident took an unusual turn when a man upset with another driver pulled a machete from his car and threatened the other driver in the Home Depot parking lot.
At 2:45 p.m. on July 11, a man called police to report being threatened by another driver, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. The man who reported the incident told police he was being tailgated while driving on Arsenal Street. He then pulled into the mall parking lot, and the suspect followed him. “The victim stopped at a stop sign in the parking lot, and the arrestee drove around the car and parked in front of him,” O’Connor said. “The man reversed his truck and backed into the the vehicle intentionally, causing minor damage.”

July 4, 12:08 a.m.: A driver called police after seeing a vehicle weaving back and forth over the center line on Pleasant Street at Main Street. An officer arrived and pulled over the vehicle. The driver would not listen to the officer who was trying to explain why he pulled the driver over. The driver threw his hands in the air and shouted at the officer, who asked the him to stop yelling.

June 30, 11:12 a.m.: A man was stopped after Marshalls security spotted him taking four sets of bedsheets and a shirt. Security watched the man closely because they recognized him from a couple past incidents where they suspect he took merchandise. On the 30th, the man removed security devices from the items and tried to leave without paying. The items were worth $399.
